Caravan

You woke me up with intimacy it rained
Invited me to follow along the green lane
Where once a train crossed old bridges
Amidst emerald mountains enclosing
A glittering river, sapphires streaming

Over rays of sunlight reflections on white
Cobbles and pebbles gleaming diamonds
Gemstones to my enchanted eyes, retracing
The beauty surrounding me to yours,
As if you were, the creator of it all,

And through sombre rocky tunnels my breath
Deepens, until light alights nature and your face
Once more, steep ravines and hell factories
Will not frighten me as tree leaves
Dance an entrancing spectacle whilst hawk-eyed

You sight the volitant inhabitants of this Neverland
Dreaming you were one, released
From the constraints of your frail human form,
Fly through the freedom you embody I wish
I could grant you the magic and transform you

Into the most elegant and strongest bird of all
I would come, and meet you by the sapphire
River as you take repose, on white diamonds before

You take off far away across the world and to Siberia.
