They creep inside you, slowly, enter
Through the soles of your feet you can feel them
The tingling sensation of a sting, electric impulses
Penetrating from the exterior within
You, leisurely strolling through nerves
Upwards, along your legs, delicately caressing
Your calves, muscles contract as they approach
Knees are weakened by their gentle strokes
As they fondle your thighs reach your pelvis
Tickle your sacrum, they slither along the spine sending
Shivers in all directions yet they have a destination,
They palpate your organs attempting to ferret
Out whether your organs will cope, with the tidings
They bring, cold frissons, on your shoulders, shudders
On your neck, the licentious lover is nuzzling your ears
Although they are inside you you can feel them
On your skin, the vaporous sensation of the lover’s breaths
Unintelligible whispered words, engender, a millisecond
Of fright, a familiar lump in the throat, you felt it before,
The one announcing their arrival to your mind
Your head feels aflame you try to reject them, yet
Their voyage is one way and the battle swiftly ends
With your surrender, your body instantly pacifies
And as you acquiesce they finally tell you,
“A new emotion has arrived.”
