Let them live

Enchanting notion of life
One which one may live
With a smile, tears only but of joy,
At dawn, bliss before a shining sun
It rose it rises and it will rise again
Elated by its enveloping warmth.

Enchanting notion of life
One which one may live
With peace, solely excited at the sight
Of discoveries, marvels and splendours,
Spectacles of nature, human kindness
The grandness of small gestures.

Let them live a life in which
Fear is not the protagonist,
No bombs, no torture, no hunger,
Where friends replace foes
Delight triumphs over terror
And mirth buries gloom in a garden full of colours.

Let them live I beg of you
A life with purpose other
Than survival
A life with direction other
Than escape.
A life. A life. A life tout court.
