You could have at least tried to pretend
Hide the traces watched your steps
Not invite me while she was still undressed
Give her back her underwear before she had to ask
Naked afore my entrance and yet have the nerve
To tell me “It is not as bad as it looks”.
Really? Is that how you want to play it?
I give you a last chance to be honest you deny
Compelling me to propose, “Shall I give you proof
that indeed it is just as bad as it looks?”
You defy me, “Show me what you got!” you say
As I retrieve her knickers from the crevice of the sofa
Where mine usually hide once you take them of me
Next to yours I say goodbye. Finally it ends.
Yet since you are guilty solely in my dreams
I can not blame you nor run away,
I will hence keep my promise and see you
Tomorrow morning.
