Sudden frustration manifests
when you are stuck in the middle of nowhere
ignoring your next move a crossroad
confusion possesses you
albeit your efforts to remain rational and calm
avoid emotions cloud your mind
as if you could try, to be less human
roaring thunders stealing from inside
your poise reflecting on the traits of your figure
sadness in your eyes, your face,
contracted muscles of the jaws you can’t deny
the tiredness you feel mirrored
in the obfuscation of a brain seemingly heavier
as you are unable to stop the creation of a myriad
thoughts running you over a train an avalanche
cold freezes your extremities, fingers and toes
a numbing sensation paralysing
any sort of resolve to implement a resolution
impotent you surrender for a moment
maybe a period until you find it in your self
To stand up, breathe, recompose, understand,
Chose to love yourself once more.
