Thirteen years

Thirteen years the fifth and not a second
Has gone by without me being aware
Of my origins my path who made me
Who I am. I would lie if I said I thought of you
Each instant though I felt your essence in me
All the way. I see you as I gaze at my reflection
My forehead some peculiar facial expressions,
Sense your presence caressed by vibrations
Your kindness and humility, your joie de vivre,
A certain rhythm you instilled in me
Orchestrating my emotions a peaceful tune
An indelible beam your signature on a white sheet.
You watched me blossom afeared of my delicacy
What it would do to me, a rare orchid left behind
Stranded in the midst of wilderness a jungle
I tamed the lions with a smile long time ago.
I hear you in my thoughts, occasionally we laugh,
I breathe remembering our meditative exercise
Until one of us surrenders to the game and speaks,
Philosophical discourses lenient to our kind
Embracing the world and life as boons from the divine,
It’s a King’s life you used say afore small mercies
I am living it as a Queen daddy hope you see it,
You encouraged me to think you will never know
The insights pervading my existence with power
Infinite love and irremovable peace, I now understand
My place in this Universe letting flows of energy evolve,
And you evanescently mutate with them for evermore.
