Crying Pneuma

Through my eyes torrential rivulets
Salty droplets spilling out from my entrails
Along my cheeks I feel them glide
To my lips their paths parching
On my blazing skin slithering into my mouth
They force themselves down my throat
I choke on flavours of sadness
A spirit encaged within my inadequate body
Unable to react afore the broken tool
Harmonically uniting the two,
As my keyboard crashes depriving words
Of letters, my essence of substance,
My pneuma of a say.
