I'd like to listen

Show me your brilliance, open your eyes,
Let me gaze within you don’t bat your lashes
As I plunge into the kaleidoscopic abysses
Of your pupils, clinging on your red-blue capillaries
Lianas in the mystic jungle that is your spirit.
Let me smell you recognise your scent
Realise it is similar to mine and that we share
Traits and genes of a peculiar sort, only humans
One of a kind, curious and audacious
Striving to survive, live, indulge and explore.
Talk to me I’d like to listen, to your voice
The tremors and resolutions, the gentle notes
When you are feeling, your beat and accent
When you convey your thoughts. Entice me
With them recount your worlds, do not omit
The shadows.
Let me touch you, feel your texture, embrace you.
Vibrate higher so that reverberations resonate
Within me, till I can see your essence and rest assure
You are just as beautiful strong delicate and fragile
As I. So much so that I may believe you are me.
