Inexistent only
When defeated will
Compels to fake rules
Of education and behaviour
Unfunded morals
Obligations, emotional blackmails,
To please, to honour
Subjugated gratitude
Imposed,
By well-mannered
Archaic expectations
Of those, supposed
To love you and care,
For themselves, not you.
For the other to feel
“Good”
Though never all
Is enough,
Draining energy in
The wrong direction
While soul perishes
Before you,
Struggling to comprehend
Why,
Succumbing to the wish
Of others, not yours.
Deprived of your self
Unheard,
The fine line
Between healthy and wicked
Devotion,
Forgetting the boundaries
Where you begin
And others finish.
