Fire

Brumal morns are letting crisp zephyr
Chronically venture into my room.
A squadron of punctual thieves climbing
Through the window coyly creep
Under my blankets to retrieve me
From the arms of Morpheus abduct me
Away from oneiric sceneries of quietude.
My body rebels, defies the intrepid cold
Rolls and purrs like a cat amid warm covers
A haven on Earth changing shades with seasons
Yet unfailingly enveloping me with sensations
Of peculiar protection and impregnable peace,
My loverless bed. Finally I resolve building
Up the courage step outside hastily wear
My worn out cashmere jumper run downstairs
Where, the heat you released the previous night
Still lingers emanating scents,
Triggering my memories the sounds
You emitted as you grew stronger enlightened
My pupils refracting beams of you inside,
Dilating whilst I fixated your ceaseless movement
Mutating shape your kinetic force enthralled me
Penetrated my flesh my blood my bones
Soothing my contracted shoulders making me feel
As woods burnt blessed by your presence
Your encounter a watershed in my evolution.
