Ancient Travellers

They travelled for eons through light years
Endless voyage they chose to land
For an instant the time of an impact
On a planet of blue green and brown.
Imparting their wisdom and knowledge
To aborigines confusing them with gods
They erected henges pyramids and temples
Taught them to read stars.
Maps of the cosmos for the day
They will too navigate infinite space
Pleading them until then
To live in peace and honour the All,
Beguiling universe of which consciousness
We are.
