to the extent of my potential
challenge me to mirror
your force to a rubato
lose the tempo let sensations
dictate the pace of your motions
over me indulge in recurrent
intervals then gradually compose
a grave to solemnity surrender
meld into me with a coda at our climax
with resolution then resolve
to striking our last note.
